How much carbon dioxide does a tree absorb?

The amount of CO2 a tree will offset depends on many factors, such as the type of tree, where it is planted and the amount of room it has to grow. On average, one broad leaf tree will absorb in the region of 1 tonne of carbon dioxide during its full life-time (approximately 90 years).

How much carbon dioxide will i save by planting a tree?

The Green Tree World compiles it's statistics on the person planting a tree compling with our terms and conditions of the planting. In which the person or company honouring the terms of conditions to lookafter the tree for the next thirty years to do there part in cleaning up the enviroment of CO2. This will clean on avarage 1 third of a tonne of CO2.
